Bourton & Frankton 1 v Central Ajax 3

Central Ajax started the game the strongest and were 2-0 up at half time. The second half saw Bourton come out of the blocks the stronger threatening the Central Ajax keeper, coupled with some very strong defending from Terry Morgans, Ollie Britton and Mathew Davey.

Ten minutes into the half and Central Ajax conceded a free kick after bringing down George Clarke some 40 yard out on the left flack. Up stepped Michael Lafferty to slot home a brilliant free kick in the top corner. This spurred Bourton on with some good runs and possession from Clarke and Lewis Brown. With a few changes, which helped control the middle of the park, Bourton began to control the game with some neat one two's down the left flack with Sam McDonald and Lewis Cutts combining nicely. However with 10 mins to go Central Ajax scrambled a third goal home to seal their place and not Bourton's into the next round.

A good performance which Bourton deserved something out of. MOM Terry Morgans: outstanding in the heart of defence
