The last of the early season midweek action saw Bourton Reserves gain a first win of the season with

Goals from Daniel McManus and Keith Turner set them on their way, although the hosts made matters hard for themselves and should have been well out of sight by the time Fillongley pulled matters back to 3-2 with seven minutes remaining. Even then Bourton had several clear cut chances to put the result beyond doubt, which was then emphasised by a glaring close range miss from the visitors entering added time. Nevertheless the hosts held on to wrap up the points and the first win of the campaign.
