Biggest win of season sees Nursing Cup semi berth (14.11.09)
Bedworth Nursing Cup - Quarter Final
Bedworth Ex-Servicemens Reserves 0 Bourton & Frankton 8
Four goals from leading scorer Rob Crinigan was one of many highlights to Bourton's comfortable passage into the semi-finals of the Bedworth Nursing Cup.
The manner of the result was every bit as emphatic as the scoreline suggests and was ideal preparation for what promises to be a testing fortnight to come in cup competition for Mark Whitehead's side.
Aided by the strong wind in the first period, Bourton were 3-0 at the break after producing some nice controlled football. Terry Freeman was on the scoresheet along with Crinigan notching two of his four goal salvo with headers, before the agony for the home side was compounded in the second half.
Two further goals from Crinigan 2, a brace from Catlow, plus player/manager Whitehead getting on the end of a Crinigan cross, rounded off a fine display.
