The return to league action proved successful for Bourton as they chalked up their first league points of the season on Saturday

Having seen the visitors start well, the hosts start to impose themselves albeit with few chances on offer for both sides; the best coming Bourton's way with Matty Coburn coming close with header from a corner on the half hour.

The second period continued in the same vain with both sides cancelling each other out; the best opportunity coming when the visitors had a rare threat at goal and hit the woodwork.

However on 67 minutes, the deadlock was broken. Substitute Liam Collinson came on and scored with a good looping header from Iain Stockdale's cross.

Inevitably Bulkington came back at Bourton and attacked for last 20 minutes but the hosts defended well to claim a hard earned victory.
