Bourton got their first win of the season with a convincing win in the midweek local derby against The Bell (AEI) Rugby.

The hosts had the ideal platform in the first half, establishing a three goal cushion at the interval, thanks to Iain Stockdale, an own goal and Danny McManus, the latter coming from the midfielders persistance down the right to smash home right on the stroke of half-time.

The visitors again did not offer much threat going into the second period, however a short spell in which the home side lost concentration saw The Bell pull a goal back with a solo run through the heart of the B & F defence and penalty area.

However, Bourton struck back and from a swift breakaway, Rob Crinigan rounded off a tidy three-man move to tuck away the home side's fourth goal and seal a passage to the second round
